At Cork Institute of French, we have the best French teachers, outstanding facilities and an exciting range of study programmes. Our expertise and our excellent teaching team allows us to cater for all levels. We are also the only French language centre in Ireland to offer a comprehensive study programme for College students covering all areas of the French curriculum for each of the academic years.
Our language centre was also selected by the Centre International d’Etudes Pédagogiques to be an approved exam centre in Cork for the French Proficiency Test TCF which is awarded by the French Ministry of Education.

Our teachers are all native speakers of French to ensure authenticity in the language. All instructors hold a Post-Graduate degree in languages. They are experienced and qualified to teach French as a foreign language and are highly-trained experts in their field. Our goal is to help our students develop oral and written communication skills through total or partial immersion in French.
We are open all year round and offer a range of courses at all levels and interests for adults, third level students and secondary school pupils. Classes have a maximum of 8 to 10 students to ensure a personal, student-centered experience.
