We will be holding an Information Day on September 2 from 4 pm to 8pm. Our team (teachers and staff) is looking forward to meet you to answer any questions you may have regarding the courses and proficiency exams we offer here at the Institute. As all our classes are streamed you'll also have the possibility to have your level of French assessed on the day!

We were very pleased to be the only French Language Centre in Munster to be published in both 'The Cork News' and 'The Cork Independent' back-to-school feature supplements as a serious language centre where quality education and exam-focussed tuition are always of the utmost priority.

Here is the newest addition to the team! The iPad 32GB 3G WiFi! Very very pleased with it and it is without a doubt the right way to make education, and in our case, language learning an interactive, interesting and a productive experience. Thank you to Alice for designing this flashcard - Alice will spend the next few weeks designing many more flashcards (on verbs, vocab ... ) so that we can actively use these "iPad flashcards" in our lessons, along with lots of multimedia content!
Communauté Française de Cork
Communauté Française de Cork
We are thrilled to announce that the “Communauté Française de Cork” (Cork French Society) has been created. We have been in touch with the “Communauté Française d’Irlande” based in Dublin and we have decided to create a branch here in Cork. We are in the process of creating a website which will gather a lot of information for French nationals leaving or who wish to live in Ireland but also for Irish people who have made the decision to go to France to live, to work or to study. More details coming soon!

We are proud to announce that we are now an approved exam centre for the Test de Connaissance du Français (French Proficiency Exam). If you are interested in sitting this test you can find more information on our website, on the Ciep website or you can call us and we will be more than happy to help.

Exhibition
We are currently accepting submissions for artists (painters / photographers) for an exhibition over the summer here at the Institute. A work following a French theme would be welcome but not essential. So if you are interested or if you know anybody who would be please contact us.
