Our courses for Third Level students are focussed on developing and improving advanced reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. They are intended to supplement lectures and tutorials and ensure that students achieve the best possible grade. Our expertise and our excellent teaching team allow us to cater for all levels. We are also the only French language centre in Ireland to offer a comprehensive study programme for College students covering all areas of the French curriculum for all the academic years.

Our main focus is also on written French including work on oral, advanced comprehension, complex grammar, vocabulary and essay-writing techniques. We also integrate translation practice (thème and version) for Second and Final Year students as well as Résumé de texte practice for Final Year students. We also work on past exam papers (summer & autumn) to make sure students are familiar with the exam layout.

Last year's second Year oral exam was different from the previous years. Only two weeks before the oral exam students had to download 5 oral documents on BB and prepare them for the oral. Needless to say that we took this challenge in our stride and after a few late nights we had all 5 documents done, prepared and ready to learn off! And once again, we know for a fact that we were the only French language centre in Cork to provide our students with all 5 documents analyses and this really saved the day for some students! One of our best success story so far!
